Keep Warm With Custom Scarves

Winter isn't over just yet! In fact, if you're the type of person that takes advice from groundhogs, it appears we still have about 4 more weeks of winter. Take action during these final cold spells and wintry storms to give your employees a winter gift they'll appreciate and use. Custom scarves are a great gift that will see a lot of use from now until springtime, so they are a great choice if you are looking for a timely and useful employee apparel gift. Have them embroidered with your company name and logo to reinforce the bond between you and your staff.

Baseball Caps and Logo Caps

Despite the cold weather, spring is just around the corner, and that means baseball cap season! Baseball caps are amazingly versatile, worn by men and women of all ages, indoors and out, during the day and out at night. They offer unparalleled visibility for your logo, whether the wearer is on the beach, on the green, or in the bar.

How many times have you seen a logo on the front of someone's hat and wondered where it came from? Logoed caps generate brand interest and awareness with no effort at all - not to mention they're so comfortable, anyone who receives one will wear it again and again. You can also distribute caps to your employees before the company ball game, or just as a token of your appreciation.

What Not to Do

There's nothing wrong with promotional t-shirts per se. Designed well, they can be an important part of an employee uniform, a great giveaway to valued customers, even a memorable tradeshow freebie to raise brand awareness. But t-shirts aren't always designed well.

Karma, a custom apparel brand in Indonesia, saw fit to outfit its brand ambassadors in t-shirts like these to advertise the fact that they offered a full line of customizable accessories and clothing. Unfortunately, the shirts are bland and ugly, and anyone who sees one is unlikely to spend more than half a second looking at it before their eyes pass on to something more dynamic and interesting - even a pigeon on the sidewalk, or a passing car that happens to honk its horn. A corporate logo shouldn't take up the whole shirt - that's tacky - and a custom design shouldn't make the wearer look like a walking sandwich board. The best corporate apparel is tasteful and fashionable and just happens to have your logo imprinted on it.

Branded Workwear

If your company is active in an industry where street clothes are rarely or never worn, and you outfit them in standard-issue scrubs or reflective vests, you're missing the perfect opportunity to promote your brand via custom logo-imprinted workwear.

Branded workwear gives employees a sense of pride in their company and in the job they're doing. They feel like more of a team, aware that they are representing their employer wherever they wear their work clothes. Whether it's on the construction site or in the hallways of the hospital, the value of teamwork can't be overestimated - employees are more motivated and achieve more when they feel like part of a group.

Brand Name Quality

Everyone's seen examples of badly done corporate apparel - cheaply made polo shirts with monstrously oversized logos that take up half the front of the shirt, or thin, pilly sweaters with colors that leak in the wash. A good way to make sure you're getting quality personalized clothing for your employees is to choose a trusted brand name. While brand name clothing may be more expensive, think of the savings in the long run - not only will these items last longer, but your employees will truly appreciate the thought you put into your selection.

A high-tech pullover by a much-loved brand like Adidas will keep your employees warm for years - and, unlike the corporate apparel equivalent of the "ugly Christmas sweater," it will be worn frequently. When you combine your logo with the logo of a well-known brand, you're associating yourself with proven quality and reminding your employees that wearing your logo is something to be proud of - not to mention that the more stylish your corporate apparel, the more likely employees' friends and family are to want logoed apparel for themselves!

Compressed T-Shirts

T-shirts are frequently used as the standard all-purpose corporate apparel item, and why not? They're comfortable, versatile, suitable for men and women, and inexpensive, allowing your company to stretch its promotional budget and achieve more. But it's important to shake things up a little so you're not giving your employees the same thing every year.

Compressed t-shirts are a fun, eye-catching way to add variety to your corporate apparel giveaways. These shirts are compressed into one of more than a hundred fun shapes, and you can put your logo on both the shirt itself and the shaped package insert! Great for company picnics and office events, these novelty items are sure to please everyone, and you can change the shape you use from year to year to keep things interesting.
